Nicely done and a very simple piece that seems to build from start to end. Has the grandiose type feel of a hero entering a fight to take on the big baddy haha.

I think my only take is that sometimes the drums seem to get slightly pushed back (quiet) in the mix on the parts where the guitar does the long drawn out power chords, but that's definitely not something that's going to be noticeable to the average listener.

Overall, good job!

Sad...

But still very lovely.

I like way your voice conveys emotion, it's very soothing and it's very real in the feeling. Also, the music is simplistic and very fitting and also allows room for you come through and convey the emotion yourself. The ambience and everything about the overall structure is put together very nicely. Also, the overall flow the song is just relaxing, but very impending too. Keep up the good work.

Also, glad nothing bad came up.

PS- I think I might write/produce something specifically for your voice, since I love it that much.

Not the biggest Liquid DnB fan...

But this is really good (and I do always love me some good DnB). The samples for the drums are really good. The lead synth could have been a bit more interesting in sound, but that beautiful bass more than makes up for it.

Overall this is really well paced and everything holds together solid. Good stuff

Envy responds:

I actually have an updated version and the lead is a little bit more interesting XD

Impressive

I don't how to explain my thoughts or let alone comprehend them. This is just such a fantastic piece. All the instruments (especially that percussion) are driving and powerful. And the dynamic changes are just phenomenal. I almost got this feeling that I was being chased down a road and into a haunted town (not house, a whole town of them). It's just got very good story/theatrical elements to it that it gave me those thoughts.

Overall good job, very very dynamic piece if I may say. The strings, brass, percussion, and use of exotic instrumentation was extremely well done.

Also, 10 gigs of ram?! Damn...

Lovin' it man

That bass fits nicely and it's not over wobbly, got a nice blend of distortion too. Also, this somehow has an 80s horror movie theme mixed with a modern blend. Love everything you did, especially the 8-bitish sounding interludes. The lyrical sections helped to compliment the overall impending feeling the song has.

Loved it, (dled too!).

Very nice

Love the mixture of instruments, it's all very hypnotizing (especially that bass). Also, all of the ambient noises are beautifully pieced together, gives a nice feeling. It's almost like walking through a cemetery at dusk, right when the sun is going down.

Overall very nice job.

I'm glad you noticed the ambient noises. I think it's the main thing in
this song. And I like your cemetery description.

Thanks a lot !

Title makes me think...

of a robot that wants to just come and hang out, drink some natty light fist pump.

Buuuut.... This song is so much more than it's title lol. This is more of a song that makes me want to go find that sweet outside (or into space) and just relax for hours on end.

Overall the instrumentation is great and fitting (very smooth and mellow). Nothing is overly heavily and the solid single bass beat going helps to drive the song forward.

So in short, good job with the song. I definitely loved it.

Just pure awesome

This is pretty good. Not only is it melodic, but that bass is just phenomenal. It's not overly bassy and wonky like a lot of dubstep, it's got that downright good feel to it. The rest of the song itself is just as amazing, like the mix of the dirty/distorted sections in there with this almost Tchaikovsky kind of sounding classical bits.

Overall very good!

Pretty good

Props man, this definitely pretty good. Like the impeding feeling it has. The only thing I can say that's even remotely negative, is that it's a little too bass heavy in that it cuts a lot of the other parts out. Otherwise, very good use of sounds. Very solid, just the bass needs to be turned down just a little.

9/10, voted 5.

NeonDaemon responds:

I think its a matter of personal taste, I personally like the bass really loud >:)

Dig it

I like the ideas you utilized for the most part, the intro was definitely pretty interesting. A lot of the sounds you utilize on the bass are definitely interesting and it is pretty overall filthy (though I feel it crescendos a little to slowly and has too much sustain).

Also, I would like to see a little more variation in the drums and overall piece in general. As I can tell that this is a simple piece, I'm not going to hit you too much on variation.

The mixing is decent, though I feel there is a little too much reverb and that drums feel a bit drowned out by the bass.

Overall this piece was decent and I'm not going to hit you too hard with points about mixing and composition, because it seems to me this was purposely made short and simple just to get the style down. Overall it's a really good start and I hope to hear more in the future.

EricFreeman responds:

Yeah, I've been experimenting a lot with dubstep and massive in general recently (I created two other dubstep songs in the past, but nothing "skrillex" style before).

And yeah, the reverb does get to be a little too much at times...but I really like reverb :3

Thanks for listening! :D

I like sci fi, horror, music, art, and other things. Feel free to ask me anything.
