Lol didn't we all try to moonwalk

Even if the solo isn't perfect this a perfect tribute MJ. Glad you did this man, it's epic. Now all we need is the metal version of Thriller!

Metaljonus responds:

Thriller is the best!

Damn...

Pretty bad ass. The playing as always is fucking phenomenal and amazing, the drums just need to be brought out (which isn't too difficult and an easy fix). Not sure what else I can say, but wow this is just fucking awesome. I swear every time you make a new song they just get more amazing and the playing always seems to improve in some way.

Continue making awesome music man.

Kor-Rune responds:

Thanks man! I followed everyone's advice and mixed the drums a little better, I hope they sound better now.

Thanks bro!

Damn, this is nice

Haven't heard anything new from you in awhile. This is definitely really cool. I absolutely love the harmonization and the solo was pretty kick ass. Yeah I agree with both of you, it's always good have something simple for a regular listener.

It's nice hearing some new material from you.

Kor-Rune responds:

You're right, I have been quiet for awhile. I suppose my friends are dragging me out a lot since its the summer.

Thanks for listening, glad you like the song!

Good try

Really enjoyed the fast pace the song sets early and carries throughout the song. Yeah there are some off parts, but they actually sound nice in there. The solo wasn't too bad, just keep practicing that guitar and keep writing man. Also love how the guitar sounds like its apart of the song, but yet so separate.

Overall good job.

Sytze responds:

I only play guitar for about 8 months, so I'll get better.

Pretty sweet

I like the song, though it can get repetitive. The bass was done very nice and just hits you like a ton of bricks. Very grooving, the drums were nice, but the rhythms could use some variation to make it a bit more dynamic.

Altogether this was a really nice song and I enjoyed it.

Mitrox responds:

thanks for the constructive review man.
you are correct about the repetitiveness of the song though.

Nice Job

Definitely like. I don't listen to Techno, let alone electronica music all that much (just recently go into it and started some writing for it). But I must say this was quite enjoyable. If it were used in a flash, I would definitely say a menu screen or the opening credits would be very fitting.

Nice done with the mixing too, everything came out nice and clear.

Goatfish32 responds:

thankyou very much for your kind words.

Pretty good job

Everything sounded quite nice, except I think the right rhythm side was just slightly off at times (probably by something as small as a sixteenth note).

Sometimes though it sounded like TN's voice was about to die out, for the most part it was good. Just some of the parts where it required a little more power he just felt a little lacking.

Kor-Rune definitely did an amazing job with the solos, loved the tone of the dive bombs.

Drums were definitely programmed nicely by Badman.

I definitely give props to everyone for such a large collaboration as this.

Pure-Metal-UTA responds:

From all of us, thanks!
Although, I don't speak for the rest of them when it comes to responding, so you'll have to talk to them.
I'm very glad it came out the way it did, however.

Sweet

Definitely feel some Dream Theater influence (more so in the sound) kind of reminds me of In The Name of God or Home (which would make sense, since you probably did this in Harmonic Minor/Phrygian Dominant). I'm always surprised by your skill, every time I listen to a new song by you it always get's better and more creative.

I'm glad to hear you improving and I can't wait for the next piece.

Kor-Rune responds:

I think this is actually a less creative song of mine. 4/4 with a couple of riffs and basic shredding. I did write it a long time ago.

This was actually inspired by the song "Babylon" by Stratovarius I heard ages ago. I didn't even hear of Dream Theater before I wrote this. Maybe they were in me all this time and I didn't know it, haha.

Fucking beautiful

To think this is what you've got so far. It kind of has a Satriani feel, in the way that its a really driving hard rock song with beautiful melodic lines. Everything is so amazing clean, it sounds like you've actually gotten better (I hope that's not possible, because then I'll never reach your level of playing).

Overall this is really nice, I'm hoping the final mix will only make this more amazing.

Metaljonus responds:

satch is the man! I have been doing nothing but practicing and writing on some kind of music crack lol.

Sweet

Pretty raw if I must say. The distorted tones are really nice, though you're right about the breakdown. Still its really good for just coming off the top of your head over some drum lines.

TwilightNecrosis responds:

Thanks man.
I played around over the drum track 3 or 4 times, then hit record and went with it. I knew it was going to be rough, but i just wanted to throw it out there; mostly because I wanted to convince gorgorothx to continue making these jam tracks and/or start a contest.
Thanks for the review, man; you should try it out too, always room for one more.
